New Choices Article on Rural Poverty, Food Access, and Public Health Outcomes

The complex relationships between poverty and health outcomes are well-documented, and promoting access to healthier foods in rural areas may help mitigate the poverty-health relationship. Many complexities in the causes of health outcomes are yet to be understood, however, including the effects of food access in rural areas on poverty and health.
